Abigail E. Hand

Licensed Funeral Director

Abigail started her career in funeral service by job shadowing at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home before embarking on her path to becoming a funeral director through schooling at Northampton Community College where she did some part-time work at Naugle Funeral Services during her studies. Next she completed her residency at Estey, Munroe and Fahey Funeral Home in Owego, New York. Once she was licensed she moved to the Binghamton area where she started serving families with Hopler and Eschbach Funeral Home. It was our good fortune that she decided to move on to working here at Luckner Funeral Home and our sister firm, E H Parsons Funeral Home, where her compassion is at the forefront of our operations and we are very grateful she joined our team. We are also fortunate that she is dual licensed in two states and can assist many families between Pennsylvania and New York.

Joseph F. Fritsch

Retired

Joseph F. Fritsch has been licensed since 1995, a graduate of Simmons Institute of Funeral Service of Syracuse NY. He is a member of New York State Funeral Directors Association, a member of Broome County Funeral Directors Association and a member of the Board of Directors for Broome County Funeral Directors Association. Joseph is married to his lovely wife MaryAnn and has two beautiful daughters, Mrs. Sarah(Ron) Lewin and Jacqueline Fritsch. Joseph comes from a large family of thirteen children, born in Towanda, PA in 1961 and moving to Endicott, NY at a very young age. He still makes Endicott his home. Unlike many funeral directors Joseph had a calling to this wonderful profession, not being linked to a family funeral business. If asked he would be the first to tell you that he truly loves his profession and the ability to take such a tragic and negative time for families and with caring, compassion, planning and attention to detail to have a very positive and meaningful outcome. Joseph has since retired in 2024 and is enjoying every minute of it.
