Dear Jane and family l not sure if you would remember me.We ment at one of the class reunions. Dennis wanted to let you know he was sorry for your loss. We are coming up for the 50 year class reunion. Maybe will see you them. I lost my Dad in September 2016. Are thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Oma's quick wit and humor and forward strong voice stand out so much in my mind. I have been absent for awhile, life's road and intentions, missed opportunities. Details in the obituary were so well put, it fills the heart (except, left out hole in ones, 2 right right?), I remember the smiles on the porch picnics and a quick reprimand followed by a smile. One memory of her telling the whole table about one of my cousins overflowing the old toilet like her dad used to and the uproar that it caused. She was a dear strong lady, full of energy and power and it was said so well in the writing that her traits show up everwhere in this family. love and miss Oma.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the times spent in the old house on Howard St with my Oma and Papa. I treasure the hours spent listening to Oma telling stories of raising her family and living life in Waverly. I loved her jokes and laughter, her outlook on life to find a brighter side when things aren't grand. Her home was my home away from home and I'm so thankful for the time we shared. Thank you Oma for your wisdom, love, and affection. Rest in Peace.
