Ronald A. Mitchell ("Mitch"), age 76, of Sayre PA, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born in Waverly NY. He attended Waverly High School after which he served in the United States Navy. He took pride in his long career in construction and retired from many years at Southern Tier Insulations. He was predeceased by his parents, Thelma (Thompson) and Walter Mitchell; his sister Audrey Searfoss; and a son. He is survived by his loving partner of many years, Nanette Cummings, Athens PA; his two daughters, Robin Taylor of Riverside CA, and Susan Wardwell of Odessa NY; his brother-in law, Ron Searfoss; niece Wendy Searfoss; and many very special friends. Mitch was quite well known for his skills in the pool halls and playing cards. He enjoyed blues music, antique cars and attending car shows. The family will receive friends at Luckner Funeral Home, 449 Park Avenue, Waverly NY on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 10:30-11:30a.m. and will host a luncheon reception at The American Legion, 171 Cayuta Street, Sayre from 12-1:00pm.
