Phyllis Zimmer of Waverly Phyllis Zimmer, 86, of Waverly passed away Tuesday April 13, 2016 at the Elderwood Health Care Center in Waverly. Born December 21, 1929 in Sayre, PA. , the daughter of the Late Catherine (Middaugh) and George Zimmer. Phyllis graduated from Waverly High School and retired from the Tioga General Hospital where she worked as a housekeeper for many years. Surviving her are her nieces Shirley (Leo) Minier, Josephine Seymour, both of Waverly and Sharon (Brad) Appleton, of Elmira as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Cy Zimmer and her sister Pearl Sherman. A Graveside Service will be announced at a future date.
