Pearl M. Sherman Of Waverly Pearl M. Sherman, 88, of Waverly, passed away Friday July 19, 2013 at the Elderwood Healthcare Facility in Waverly. Born March7, 1925 in Sayre , PA. the daughter of the late Katherine (Middaugh) and George Zimmer and loving wife of the late Lewis  Sherman. She was also predeceased by her son Gary Sherman and grandson James Sherman. Pearl was a lifelong resident of the Valley, enjoying being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Surviving Pearl are her children; Shirley (Leo) Minier, Josephine Seymour, and Sharon (Bud)Appleton, all of Waverly, her eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, her daughter in law Stephka Sherman, of Elmira, her sister Phyllis Zimmer, of Waverly, as well, as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
