Patricia L. Gorski, age 82, passed away after a period of declining health at the Robert Packer Hospital on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born January 28, 1936 in Hornell, NY to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lynn J. Greenfield.  She attended West End Elementary grade school and graduated from Waverly High School. On May 12, 1973 she was united in marriage to Leon E. Gorski in Waverly, NY. Upon her graduation from high school she began a career at American LaFrance. She would later work at IBM for 27 years before retirement. In her retirement she loved and enjoyed her sisters and brothers, her dogs Sammy and Misty, reading, crocheting, and treasured the time spent with her family, always looking forward to seeing her nieces and nephews. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church. Patricia is survived by her sister Mrs. Jacqueline (Paul) Stolicker of Waverly, and brother James Platt of Waverly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Michael (Michelle) Stolicker of Baldwinsville, NY, Patti Hewitt (Scott Barton) of Waverly, Jill (John) Nittinger of Sayre, Scott (Sharon) Wheeler of Erin, NY, Mark (Shannon) Wheeler of Waverly, and Kevin (Alycia) Wheeler of Sayre. She was further survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years Leon, three brothers, Robert, Lyle, and Gary Greenfield and a sister Karen L. Wheeler. Gorski will be held at 9 a.m., with services held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 2 at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue, Waverly, NY.  The Reverend Cindy Schulte, pastor of the United Methodist Church, will officiate.
