Patricia (Patty) Clark, 65, of Waverly, NY, and Troy, PA., passed away on December 22, 2015. Patty was born in Sayre, on March 25, 1950 to Edward (Ted) and Marie Decker Clark. She had resided at Martha Lloyd Community Services in Troy since 1973. She was very proud she had two homes Waverly and Troy. She is survived by her brothers: Timothy of Waverly, Michael of Binghamton, and Daniel, sisters; Sheila Clark of Sayre, and Kathleen (Bruce) Clark-Mourhess of Waverly. Also nieces; Sarah Simpson and Holly (Bo) LaMana of Waverly, Courtney (Chris) Yeakel, of Fairport, NY, Amanda (Scott) Burks, of Washington, DC. Nephew Daniel Clark, Jr. of Waverly, special cousins, Sue (Bill) Wallace, of Waverly, Sharon Jackson, of Palmyra, PA. Several other cousins, grand nieces and nephews and of course the staff and residents of Martha Lloyd. She was predeceased by her parents. She attended St James School and Waverly High School in her youth. Patty was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish Saint James Church in Waverly. Patty had a good life despite the challenges she faced. As soon as you got to know her you were no longer a "stranger" but a friend for life. She loved the "Beatles" and all the music from the sixties and the seventies. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV programs, reading her magazines and coming home to Waverly for all Holidays. She was also very proud that she shared her March25th birthday with Elton John and Aretha Franklin. She is sorely missed. The family expresses its deep gratitude to the staff of Martha Lloyd for their care of Patty for 42 years and especially the final weeks of her illness. We also thank Guthrie Hospice who helped Patty and us through this difficult period. Clark Services Held Funeral Services for Patricia Ann Clark were held Monday December 28, 2015 at Blessed Trinity Parish Saint James Church in Waverly. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Reverend Thomas J. Valenti.  Timothy Clark shared Words of Remembrance of Patricia.  Courtney Yeakel and Amanda Burks recited the readings, Father Valenti read from the Gospel and offered the homily. Prayers of the Faithful were offered by Sue Wallace. The Eucharistic gifts were presented to the altar by Kathy Mourhess and Sheila Clark.  Bruce Mourhess, Chris Yeakel, Scott Burks, Wardell Jackson, Bill Wallace and Peter Baird had the honor and privilege of being Pallbearers. Soloist Bill Soprano offered the music for the mass. Interment followed at Saint James Cemetery. The family gathered after the Mass for a luncheon and to share memories and fellowship.
