Norma Marie (Blair) Ivester Of Waverly Norma Marie (Blair) Ivester, 80 , of Waverly passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 14, 2012. Born February 8, 1932 in Athens, PA. the daughter of the Late Esther (Duhlstine) and Howard Blair. Norma was also predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years Blondell, May 23, 1997 her brothers Leivan Blair, May 11, 2003, Wayne Blair, June 26, 2005 and her sister Deanna Blair, May 23, 2005. Norma was a lifelong resident of the Valley. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She graduated from Waverly Central High School in 1950. She loved to walk, and her family was her greatest joy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving Norma are her son and daughters: Dana (Tina) Ivester, Waverly, NY, Marion (Roger) Carling, Greens Landing, PA. Marlene (James) Rider, Suffolk, VA. And Melissa (John) Clinton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren , six great grandchildren,  her brother, David (Betty) Blair, Waverly NY, her sister, Winda Blair, Waverly NY , her Aunt Berna Hammers, Frankford, Il., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call Monday March 19th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly, NY. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
