Marianna Rice of Waverly Marianna Rice , 86, of Waverly passed away Monday August 29th, 2011 at the Elderwood Healthcare Facility in Waverly NY. Born September 7, 1924 daughter of the Late Giuseppe and Caterina Milano, and loving wife of the late Donald Rice. Marianna was also predeceased by her sisters,  Marie Widrig and Josephine Poole. Marianna retired from the Sayre Lingerie Company in Sayre PA. where she worked for over 37 years. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Saint James Parish in Waverly. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Gallagher of Waverly, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, her brothers, Frank and John Milano both of Waverly as well as numerous special nieces and nephews ,three stepchildren Barbara , Kenny and Thomas Rice. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Friday September 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue, Waverly, NY. Father Bill Moorby will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
