Lettie Sherman, 93, of Waverly New York, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2025. She is survived by her children Christine (Ken Matthews) Felicita, Stephen (Marie) Yaple; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Lela Sherman; sister, Myrtle Pagete(?); brothers, James Sherman, and Robert Sherman; children, Kathleen Baca, Andrew Yaple I, Frank Yaple III, and an infant daughter Elizabeth Yaple; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lettie was born and raised within the valley. She was always active in life, going on walks taking care of her family and pets. She had a special bond with her daughter Christine, spending many days with her running their errands together. Lettie was a people person, talking to everyone and anyone. She leaves behind many friends on top of the family she left behind. She loves dogs and cats. Lettie spent time hunting both large and small game with her father throughout their lives.

There will be no services as per Lettie's wishes.
