Janice Helen Schuyler, 86, of Waverly passed away Tuesday October 12th, 2010 at the Elderwood Healthcare Facility in Waverly, NY. Janice was predeceased by her parents Ida Brown and Stanley Husick, her loving husband John and her son John Schuyler. Janice was born March 3rd 1924in Sayre, PA. She was a lifelong resident of the Valley. Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. Surviving Janice are her son,  Robert (Henrietta) Schuyler, of Selkirk, NY ; her daughters; Dorothy Soule and Jean Winslow, both of Waverly, her 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 13 great- great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call Friday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly NY . A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 8:00p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Chaplain Linda Rogers with the Athens Township Volunteer Fire Department will officiate. Internment will be in Chemung Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
