Hilda Brown-Coe Of Waverly Hilda Brown-Coe, 87, of Waverly passed away Wednesday May 16, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Born May 14, 1925 in Sayre PA. the daughter of the Late Etta (House) and Thomas Brown. Hilda was a lifelong resident of the Valley. She retired after over thirty years of service from Robert Packer Hospital where she worked as a nurses aide and caregiver. Even after retirement Hilda continued to be a caregiver for many groups and agencies in the valley. She was a member of Sayre Christian Church. Hilda also was a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by all. Surviving her are her children; sons, John Eltringham of Waverly, Gary (Karen) Eltringham of Athens and her daughter Debby Eltringham, of Waverly. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Chris, Sean, Anthony, Jason, Mark, Scott, Rebecca, Elise, Kelley, and Jerame, and 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 19 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sayre Christian Church.  Friends and family are invited to call at the church from 3:00 p.m. until service time.
