Francis E. Lincoln Francis E. Lincoln, 73, passed away Friday September 3 , 2010 at the Bradford County Manor Skilled Nursing Facility. Born July 13, 1938 in Waverly New York, the son of the Late Francis E. Lincoln and Marie (Herrick) Lincoln and husband of the Late Carolyn Lincoln who passed away in 2008. Francis was a lifelong resident of the Valley, he was a volunteer fireman for the Cayuta Hose Company, a member of the Waverly Moose and a social member of the V.F.W. Francis loved all types of mechanic work. He worked for Valley Taxi where he performed many duties from driving, dispatching and his favorite mechanic. Francis was a wonderful family man loving every minute he had to spend with his family. Surviving him are his children: Francis E. (Gloria) Lincoln III, of Athens, Samuel J. (Carmelita) Lincoln, of Washburn, ND., Terrance A. (Nancy) Lincoln, of Athens, Connie M. (Kevin) Slater, of Burlington, PA. and William L. Lincoln, of Athens, PA. Francis is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 7th at 2:00p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly NY. Reverend James Donahoo will officiate. Internment will follow at Emery Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
