Erma Mae Ammerman Erma Mae Ammerman, 87, of Waverly passed away Saturday January 25, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Born December 21, 1926 in Waverly, NY the daughter of the late Arthur and Rosie (McCormick) Wells. On September 29th, 1944 she married the love of her life Arthur Ammerman. Erma was a lifelong resident of the Valley and attended the Waverly Schools. Erma loved homemaking and spending time with her family.  Erma's door was always open and she was always a good hostess.  Her kitchen was always open too especially to her two grandsons. Surviving Erma are her loving husband of 69 years,  Arthur William Ammerman, at home, her  daughter and son in law, Dianne (Charles) Annabel, of Waverly, her grandchildren, Mark (Beth) Annabel, of Lockwood, Charles (Annette) Annabel, of Beaver Meadows, PA. and 3 great grand daughters Marissa, Jade, and Catherine, also three brothers in law and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Erma was predeceased by her son, Larry and her sisters Elizabeth, Dorothy, Sarah, Ruth, Madeline, and Marjorie. Her brothers Lawrence and Walter Bruce.
