Cindy Mae (Merrill) Varga Of Salisbury MD. Formerly of Waverly

Cindy Mae (Merrill) Varga 50, formerly of Waverly passed away suddenly Saturday February 5th at her home in Salisbury, MD. Born December 4th, 1960 in Waverly, NY the daughter of Inez R. (Brown) Merrill and the late James H. Merrill. Cindy enjoyed cooking, baking, decorating her home, and crocheting. She worked as a certified nursing aide at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, MD. She loved her faith, her family, and her grandchildren, she will be greatly missed. Surviving Cindy are her fiancé Norman Strope, of Salisbury, MD, her mother Inez R. (Brown) Merrill, of Campbell, NY. her four daughters: Tabitha (Edward) Blevins, of Barton,  Shanah ( David Brown) Storm, of Elmira, Emily (Chance) Thomas, of Lockwood, and Brittany Varga, of Barton, her six grandchildren, Melissa, Scott, Danielle, Rebecca, Eli, and Riley. Also surviving Cindy are her brothers: James (Linda) Merrill, of Campbell, Kevin (Chris) Merrill, of Barton, Michael (Rita) Merrill, also of Barton, and Keith (Kim) Merrill, of Lockwood, her sisters, Doreen (Jeffrey) Yackel, of Elmira, and Sandra (Earl) Barrett, of Waverly as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 9, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue with Rev. Dr. John Merrill Associate Pastor of Talmadge Hill Gospel Chapel will officiate.  Family an friends are invited to call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.
