Antoinette M. Bird Of Waverly Antoinette M. Bird, 99 of Waverly passed away Thursday September 20, 2012. Born June 28, 1913 in S. Waverly PA. the daughter of the late Lena and Carmen Ursida, and loving wife of the late Frank Alamo. She was also predeceased by her daughter Joanne Alamo and her sister Josephine Bickford. Antoinette was a lifelong long resident of the valley. She worked for many years in the silk mills and for the Blue Swan Lingerie Company in Sayre. Antoinette was especially happy spending time with her family. She loved tending to her rose garden, and working around her home. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish Saint James Church. Surviving Antoinette are her son Francis Alamo, Waverly,  her four grandchildren; Michael Michelle, and Mark Alamo and Craig Regela, and her great grandson Joshua Alamo. She is also survived by her sisters, Lucy Bagalini, and Rose Alexander both of Sayre as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call Monday September 24 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly NY. A Funeral Service with father Bill Moorby will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Saint James Cemetery.
