Obituary

Albert C. Meissner, 78, formerly of Lockwood, passed away Tuesday November 23rd at his daughter Dawns' home in Oneonta Alabama. Born August 29, 1932 , the son of the Late Hattie (Walker) and Albert Meissner, brother of the late Arthur Meissner, and loving husband of Karen Meissner.
Albert worked as a machinist for Emerson Electric in Ithaca, NY. and a groundskeeper at Tomasso's in Waverly, NY. He was a member of the North Barton Grange for 64 years and a Past Master.
Albert is survived by his wife, Karen Meissner, Oneonta, AL. his three children; Marvin and Dana Meissner of Camillus, NY , Connie and Joe Horton, of Hammondsport, NY and Dawn and Johnny Kelsoe, also of Oneonta, AL.
He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Richard Campbell, Carl Campbell, two great grandchildren Cara Campbell, and Cody Chandler, and his very special companion his dog "Scooter".

A Memorial service to Celebrate his life will be held Wednesday December 1st at 2:00p.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly NY . Mr.Carlton Tubbs will officiate. Family and friends may call on the family from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Lockwood Cemetery.
