Willa (Cole) Wilson

Willa Wilson of Waverly, NY passed away peacefully Monday, March 20, 2017 at Elderwood Nursing Facility in Waverly.  
Born on March, 18, 1937 in Sayre, PA to Stanley and Edith Castle Cole.
Willa graduated from Athens High School in 1955.  She spent most of her working life driving school bus for the Waverly Central School District and enjoyed the time interacting with the students and staff.  
She attended First Church of the Nazarene in Waverly for many years where she held many positions over that time. She loved to teach Sunday school and sing solos.  She met her future husband, Bill Wilson, Sr at Church and married there in 1958.
She is survived by three sons:  Bill (Kathy) Wilson of Waverly, David (Sandra) Wilson of Frostproof, FL, Dale (Sue) Wilson of Tucson, AZ.  Grandchildren, Brandy and John Smith, Sherry and Devin Boor, Daniel and Georgia Wilson, Derek Wilson, Eric Wilson, Holly and Shawn Gary.  Five Great Grand Children Mya, Morgan, Brady, Henley, Bentley.  Brothers:  Lester (Ann) Cole, AL, Arthur (Marolyn) Cole of Athens, Emma Jean Molyneaux, Roland (Lynda) Cole of Owego, NY, Vernon (Cindy) Cole of Sayre, PA, Sidney (Carolyn) Cole of Candor, NY, many nieces and nephews, Close friend, Marilyn Hadlock of Athens, PA.
She is predeceased by her parents, Brothers James, Jay, Elwood, and Dayton, two infant sisters, Brother-in-law, Ed Molyneaux, Sisters-in-law, Karen (Jay) Cole, Patricia (Elwood) Cole.
