Robert Grant Johnson

Robert "Nob" "GMan" Grant Johnson, age 48, passed away afteran extended illness on June 5, 2012 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

He was born June 6, 1964 to parents Robert and Shirley Johnson of East Athens, PA.
Robert loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed riding BMX bikes, talking on the CB radio and swimming with his daughter.

He was employed for many years with Bob's Honda in Athens, PA.

He is survived by his parents as well as his beloved wife Lori and thier daughter, Veronica of Sayre, PA.: stepson Scott Matthews, with his fiancee Anne Brewer and thier children: EricaMatthews and Blaze Carpenter, all of Athens, PA.; brother in law and wife Joe and Joy Johnson of Wysox; sister in law and husband, Donna and Jim Cobb; and his sister in law and her fiance Mary Johnson and Larry Chapman. Also many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friends Tillie Searfoss, Rich and Tammy Naylor, Julie Johnson, and Robert and Strawberry Dinse.

Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Randy Johnson, and his paternal grandparents, Catherine Johnson and Grant and Ruth Keene.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Luckner Funeral Home 449 Park Avenue Waverly NY. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday from 10:00 am until time of the service and to share memories and stories after the service.
